We're working with a growing telecoms and IT reseller looking to expand their field sales team across the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands regions. This is a pure new business role β€” self-generated pipeline, no account management, no warm leads. If you thrive on hunting and closing your own deals, this is built for you. The business sells across unified communications, connectivity and IT reseller solutions into SME and mid-market businesses.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Self-generating new business pipeline through cold calling, LinkedIn, networking and referrals
  • Selling UC solutions β€” hosted telephony, Microsoft Teams voice, cloud communications
  • Selling IT reseller solutions including hardware, software, licensing and managed services
  • Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close
  • Building relationships with IT managers, MDs, finance directors and operations leads
  • Accurately forecasting and reporting pipeline through CRM
  • Attending client sites across your patch β€” field-based role

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

  • Proven B2B field sales background in telecoms or IT
  • Experience selling UC β€” hosted voice, Teams, cloud comms
  • IT reseller sales β€” hardware, software or managed services
  • Strong self-gen track record β€” you don't wait for leads
  • SME or mid-market sales experience
  • Full UK driving licence

DESIRABLE

  • Connectivity sales β€” leased lines, SIP, MPLS
  • Existing contact network in the region
  • CRM experience β€” Salesforce or HubSpot
