Key Responsibilities:
- Complex Scaffolding Erection: Constructing intricate scaffolding systems including suspended scaffolds, cantilevered scaffolds, and complex façade access systems.
- Site Assessment and Design: Interpreting project blueprints and site conditions to accurately design and lay out scaffolding layouts.
- Material Selection and Management: Selecting appropriate scaffolding components based on project requirements and ensuring proper material usage and storage.
- Team Leadership: Supervising a team of scaffolders, assigning tasks, and ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
- Safety Compliance: Thoroughly inspecting scaffolding structures for compliance with safety regulations and industry standards (e.g., TG20).
- Problem-Solving: Identifying and resolving complex scaffolding issues on site, adapting designs to overcome obstacles.
- Quality Control: Performing thorough quality checks on all erected scaffolding structures.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintaining detailed records of scaffolding work, including daily progress reports and safety documentation.
