We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join our client's Operations team.

This is a hands-on role building and testing complete pumping stations, working with GRP tanks, ductile iron/u PVC pipework, valves, pumps, booster sets, control panels and PLCs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and test pumping stations and pump assemblies.
  • Install pipework, valves and control panels.
  • Work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Wire control panels and programme PLCs.
  • Carry out pressure testing and quality checks.
  • Receive and prepare equipment and materials.
  • Complete job sheets and maintain a safe, organised workshop.

About You

  • Previous workshop/mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
  • Able to read technical drawings.
  • Experience with pumps, pipework or control panels.
  • PLC experience desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Must drive
  • Reliable, practical and able to work independently.
