We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join our client's Operations team.
This is a hands-on role building and testing complete pumping stations, working with GRP tanks, ductile iron/u PVC pipework, valves, pumps, booster sets, control panels and PLCs.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and test pumping stations and pump assemblies.
- Install pipework, valves and control panels.
- Work from mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Wire control panels and programme PLCs.
- Carry out pressure testing and quality checks.
- Receive and prepare equipment and materials.
- Complete job sheets and maintain a safe, organised workshop.
About You
- Previous workshop/mechanical/electrical engineering experience.
- Able to read technical drawings.
- Experience with pumps, pipework or control panels.
- PLC experience desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
- Must drive
- Reliable, practical and able to work independently.
