Production Operative - Food Processing
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary to Permanent
Pay: £12.85-£13.85 per hour

Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of our valued and long-standing client, Cranswick Gourmet Kitchen, a leading food manufacturer based in Hull.
This is a great opportunity to join a busy, fast-paced food production environment offering ongoing work, full training and the potential to secure a permanent position.
Shift Patterns
You will work Monday to Friday on one of the following shifts:
- Morning Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm
- Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Your Responsibilities
As a Production Operative, your duties will include:
- Working on a food production line in a chilled environment
- Packing, weighing and labelling food products
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards
- Reporting quality or production issues when identified
- Following food hygiene, food safety and health & safety procedures
- Keeping your workstation clean, safe and organised
- Supporting the wider production team with general duties as required
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, packing or a similar environment would be beneficial, but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Are comfortable working in a chilled production environment
- Have good attention to detail
- Are reliable and punctual
- Can work effectively as part of a team
- Are willing to learn and follow food safety and hygiene procedures
