Job Type: Full-time, 24/7 shift-based (DuPont 12-hour rotation)

Overview

We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Trainee Process Operator to join our multi-skilled production team within a specialist seed oil manufacturing facility. The site produces high-quality niche oils including Rosehip, Evening Primrose, Borage, and Blackcurrant using both cold pressing and solvent extraction methods. This is a varied operational role within a 24/7 manufacturing environment supplying the Nutraceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Pharmaceutical, and Animal Feed industries globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment across multiple process areas including oil pressing and solvent extraction
  • Support safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations in line with food and pharmaceutical standards
  • Follow strict health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures at all times
  • Carry out routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and process adjustments where required
  • Work collaboratively within a shift team to meet production targets and deadlines
  • Maintain accurate records using basic IT systems and production documentation
  • Participate in training and development to gain competence across all plant operations

Requirements

Previous experience in chemical, food, feed, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
