We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Tile Manufacturer to join our production team in Barton upon Humber. This role will involve manual handling and production of clay tiles, with full training provided to ensure you succeed in your position.
Key Responsibilities:- Tile Manufacturing: Manually shape and mold clay to create high-quality tiles. Move finished tiles to the drying area, ensuring they are handled with care.
- Manual Handling & Lifting: Lift and stack up to 25kg of clay bags, tiles, and other materials. Perform general manual handling of the finished products and raw materials.
- Production Assistance: Assist with the movement of tiles throughout the production process. Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient production.
- Quality Control & Safety: Ensure that tiles meet quality standards by performing basic checks. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Training: Receive full training on all aspects of the tile manufacturing process, from molding to handling the final product. Continuous development and support to help you grow within the role.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry up to 25kg regularly.
- Safety Gear: You will need to provide your own safety boots.
- Manual Handling Skills: Experience with manual labor or a willingness to learn.
- Working Hours Flexibility: Ability to work Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays if required.
