Join the Naturediet Team! Naturediet Pet Foods Limited are looking for experienced Production Operatives / Machine Minders to join our team at our Ickburgh site, just outside Mundford.

We're looking for practical, reliable and motivated individuals who have previous machine operation experience and are confident with troubleshooting and fault finding.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Setting up and maintaining production equipment
  • Maintaining changeover parts and spares when not in use
  • Carrying out basic preventative maintenance tasks and taking ownership of your area
  • Recording downtime and repairs on downtime sheets alongside the maintenance team
  • Risk assessing duties and working safely at all times
  • Using basic hand tools confidently
  • Working independently to keep production running efficiently

What We're Looking For

  • Previous machine operation experience
  • Good troubleshooting and fault-finding ability
  • A good understanding of basic hand tools
  • Basic Food Hygiene Training, either externally or in-house
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety
  • The ability to risk assess your area of responsibility
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A task-focused, can-do attitude
  • The ability to work confidently without supervision
  • The ability to work in a demanding production environment and lift up to 25kg when required

The Details

£13.19 per hour to start, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 2pm-10pm or 10pm-6am shifts. Very occasional weekend working may be required, with overtime paid at double time after completion of weekly contractual hours.
