Cranswick Country Foods Preston is a leading UK food producer supplying major retailers and global customers. They are expanding their day shift team and are looking for Skilled Butchers to start immediately.
This is full-time, Monday to Friday work, with the chance of a permanent contract for the right candidates.
Duties include:
- Cutting and preparing meat for processing and packing
- Trimming, washing, and removing unwanted material
- Operating slaughter, stunning, and restraining equipment
- Eviscerating and dressing carcasses
- Following animal welfare and hygiene procedures
- Carrying out slaughter in line with religious requirements (where required)
Pay & Benefits:
- Shift Monday-Friday
- Start 6AM - finish when production finishes
- 2 breaks, 1*15 min and 1*30 min.
- Rates:
- Grad 1 - £16.24 / overtime £20.30
- Grad 2 - £15.10 / overtime £18.88
- Grad 3 - £14.13 / overtime £17.66
- Grad 4 - £13.63 / overtime £17.04
