Semi-Skilled Modular / Portable Manufacturing Operative
Temporary, Construction & engineering sector, Hull and surrounding areas
Working hours: Full-time Monday to Friday (Early finish on Fridays)
Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting an experienced and dependable Semi-Skilled Operative to join a well-established and growing business within the modular, portable and leisure building industry. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on industry experience who enjoys practical work and can confidently support the build, refurbishment and installation of modular units. You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment where quality, safety and teamwork are key.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out semi-skilled assembly and refurbishment of modular and portable buildings
- Supporting the fit-out and finishing of units, both internally and externally
- Assisting installation teams with on-site setup and preparation when required
- Completing a variety of basic trade tasks, including:
- Plumbing assistance
- Electrical support (non-qualified tasks)
- General repairs and maintenance
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience within the modular, portable or leisure building sector
- Ability to carry out semi-skilled tasks with minimal supervision
- Strong understanding of health & safety in workshop and site environments
- Reliable, hardworking and a strong team player
- Desirable (but not essential): Experience in one or more trades (carpentry, plumbing, maintenance, etc.)
- Forklift licence or plant experience
- Full UK driving licence
