We are recruiting for an experienced Forklift Truck Driver to join a busy manufacturing and warehouse operation in Scunthorpe.
This is a temporary-to-permanent opportunity offering regular hours, competitive pay and the chance to secure a permanent position after a successful 12-week qualifying period.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks within warehouse and production areas.
- Load and unload vehicles efficiently and safely.
- Move raw materials, packaging and finished goods throughout the site.
- Supply production lines with materials to maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure products are stored correctly and stock locations are maintained accurately.
- Conduct daily FLT safety checks and report any faults or maintenance requirements.
- Assist with stock control, stock counts and inventory management.
- Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation accurately.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation.
- Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Support warehouse and production teams as required.
Requirements
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
- Previous FLT experience within a manufacturing, warehouse or logistics environment.
- Good understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Flexible approach to working rotating shifts.
