Production Systems Coordinator - Manufacturing
Location: East Yorkshire
Salary: 34,000 - 39,000 per annum
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday
Ready to take the next step in manufacturing and become a key part of a major new systems project?
Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting three Production Systems Coordinators on behalf of our valued client, a major manufacturing business investing in a new generation of business systems.
Our client has been developing a modernised ERP system since 2024 and is now preparing to roll out Microsoft Dynamics 365 across the business. They're looking for people who understand manufacturing operations, are confident using computer systems and enjoy helping processes run smoothly.
You don't need to be an IT specialist or an existing Dynamics 365 expert. If you've worked in production, manufacturing, planning or a similar operational role and have become the person colleagues turn to for help with systems and processes, this could be an excellent next step.
What will you be doing?
You’ll become a key point of contact for the new system within Production and Manufacturing, helping colleagues get the most from the technology and ensuring day-to-day operations continue to run efficiently.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting production and manufacturing colleagues with day-to-day system queries.
- Helping resolve issues with production records, stock, inventory and manufacturing transactions.
- Checking that information is accurate and processes are running as they should.
- Identifying problems, investigating their causes and working with the IT team to find solutions.
- Helping colleagues learn the new system through training, guidance and ongoing support.
- Supporting the introduction and continuous improvement of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Taking part in system testing before updates and changes are introduced.
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reduce errors and make everyday tasks more efficient.
- Working closely with production teams and IT Business Analysts to ensure the system meets the needs of the operation.
What are we looking for?
We’re interested in people who understand how manufacturing works and are comfortable using systems to support their day-to-day responsibilities.
You could be working as a Production Operative, Production Planner, Manufacturing Administrator, Production Team Leader or in another manufacturing role where systems and accurate data are important.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Confidence using computer systems to record, monitor or manage operational information.
- A good understanding of production processes, stock control, inventory or manufacturing transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and a logical approach to solving problems.
- Good communication skills and the confidence to support and guide colleagues.
- A proactive attitude, with an interest in improving processes and finding better ways of working.
Experience with an ERP system would be beneficial, and knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 would be an advantage. However, experience with other business systems will also be considered.
Above all, we’re looking for people who understand the operation, enjoy working with systems and want to play an active role in helping a business move forward.
What's in it for you?
- 34,000 - 39,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Permanent employment with an established manufacturing business.
- The opportunity to be involved in a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementation.
- A chance to develop your systems knowledge and broaden your career within manufacturing.
- The opportunity to make a real difference to how production processes operate.
- Three positions available, offering an exciting opportunity to join the project.
