We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Stock/Production Operative to join our fish processing team. This role involves building and managing stock, supporting production, and ensuring all products are handled in line with strict food hygiene standards. Candidates must hold a valid Food Safety Level 2 certificate.
Key Responsibilities
- Building, organizing, and replenishing stock for production lines
- Handling, preparing, and packing fish products
- Weighing and labeling items accurately for distribution
- Ensuring all tasks are carried out in line with Food Safety Level 2 standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in all work areas
- Monitoring product quality and reporting any issues
- Storing raw materials and finished goods correctly
- Assisting with production line operations as required
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
Requirements
- Food Safety Level 2 certificate (required)
- Previous experience in a food production or factory environment preferred
- Ability to work in cold, wet conditions
- Good physical fitness (lifting and standing for long periods)
- Strong attention to detail and hygiene standards
- Reliable and punctual for 3pm–11pm shift Monday to Friday working week
- Ability to work well as part of a team
