Job requirements of Food Production Operative:

  • We offer training so previous experience isn't necessary, just a team player mentality with the desire to get the job done well.

  • As a General Operative in one of the departments at the meat factory in Watton, you'll be packing some of the country's best-selling pork products including our tasty loin steaks, chops and sausages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate on a production line in a chilled environment
  • Pack, weigh, and label food products
  • Conduct quality checks and report any issues
  • Follow hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation
  • Support general production tasks as needed

Shift Patterns (4on/4off & Mon-Fri):

  • Day Shifts: 4on4off (05:30 AM - 17:00 PM or 06:00 AM - 17:00 PM) or Mon-Fri (06:00 AM - 16:00 PM)
  • Night Shifts: 4on4off (16:30 PM - 03:30 AM or 17:00 PM - 03:30 AM) or Mon-Fri (16:00 PM - 01:00 AM)

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in food production or manufacturing is beneficial but not required
  • Comfortable working in chilled conditions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Willing to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern
