Night Shift Operator

Key Responsibilities

• Operate wood press machinery to form or bond wood materials such as plywood, laminated panels, or molded components.
• Load and unload wood materials into press machines, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Monitor press temperatures, pressure levels, and cycle times to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Perform visual inspections of materials before and after pressing to ensure product quality.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to meet production specifications and quality standards.
• Record production data and report any equipment issues or material defects to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Assist with routine maintenance and cleaning of press equipment.

Working Conditions

Night shift work with minimal supervision.

Exposure to wood dust, noise, and machinery.

Use of protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection is required.

PAY RATE £14.00

SHIFTS ARE NIGHTS

MONDAY 15.00- 00.30
