Sales Administrator - New Machine Sales Location: Newark, Nottinghamshire Salary: £29k - £35k DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity A leading global construction equipment business is looking for an experienced Sales Administrator to join its Sales team. This is a varied role supporting the end-to-end administration of new machine sales, demonstrations and deliveries, working closely with customers, Sales, OEM factories, finance companies, transport providers and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Process new machine sales from customer order through to delivery. Order machines from OEM factories and liaise on specifications and delivery dates. Coordinate machine preparation, workshop instructions and third-party suppliers. Arrange finance, transport and delivery requirements. Maintain accurate sales trackers and customer order information. Prepare delivery documentation and process signed paperwork. Support machine demonstrations, including Hire/Loan documentation and field service arrangements. Liaise with customers throughout the sales and delivery process. Provide cover and support to the wider Sales Administration team. About You We're looking for someone who has: Previous Sales Administration and/or Account Management experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills. A professional telephone manner and confidence speaking with customers. Strong organisation and attention to detail. The ability to work independently and use your own initiative. A proactive, positive and adaptable approach. Strong teamwork skills and a genuine customer-first attitude.Construction, plant or machinery industry experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The Ideal Candidate You'll be someone who takes ownership, delivers on time, pays attention to detail and strives to get things right first time.
