Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Multi-Skilled Bathroom & Kitchen Fitter to join an established building services company. This is a mobile role involving regular travel to sites throughout Yorkshire and the Humber. Occasional overnight stays will also be required, so applicants must be comfortable travelling and working away from home when necessary.
We are looking for a genuinely multi-skilled tradesperson who can complete bathroom and kitchen installations from start to finish. You must be competent in joinery, tiling, wet plumbing and plastering, with the ability to work independently and deliver an excellent standard of finish.
The Role
- Installing and refurbishing bathrooms and kitchens
- Removing existing kitchens, bathrooms and associated fixtures
- Completing first and second-fix joinery
- Fitting kitchen units, worktops, doors, skirting boards and other fixtures
- Installing baths, showers, toilets, sinks and associated pipework
- Carrying out wet plumbing work
- Completing wall and floor tiling
- Undertaking plastering, patch repairs and making-good work
- Carrying out general property repairs and maintenance
- Completing projects independently from preparation through to final finish
- Travelling between sites throughout Yorkshire and the Humber
- Staying away overnight occasionally when required
- Keeping working areas clean, safe and professional
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience fitting bathrooms, kitchens or both
- Strong practical ability across joinery, tiling, wet plumbing and plastering
- Ability to complete installations independently to a professional standard
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in the finished job
- Good problem-solving skills and a flexible, multi-skilled approach
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel throughout Yorkshire and the Humber
- Flexibility to undertake occasional overnight stays
- Reliable and professional approach when working in customer properties
