Skilled Joiner / Skilled Modular Operative

Location: Brandesburton, East Yorkshire

Pay Rates:

  • Days: £16.00 per hour
  • Nights: £20.00 per hour

Shift Patterns Available:

  • Days: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm, with an early finish on Fridays
  • Nights: Monday to Thursday 5:00pm - 1:30am | Friday 4:30pm - 12:30am

Due to continued expansion and a strong forward order book, a leading modular construction manufacturer is seeking experienced Skilled Joiners to join its high‑performing manufacturing team in Brandesburton. The business manufactures high‑quality buildings for sectors including healthcare, education, residential and commercial projects nationwide.

The Role

You will play a key role in the production and finishing of modular buildings within a modern off‑site manufacturing facility. Duties will include:

  • First and second fix joinery
  • Installation of flooring, roofing and partition systems
  • Fitting kitchens, doors, windows and internal finishes
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Quality checking completed work
  • Supporting continuous improvement and production targets

Skills & Experience

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery/Carpentry preferred
  • Proven experience in joinery or modular construction
  • High attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience in modular, caravan or offsite manufacturing beneficial
  • Own tools essential
  • Own transport required due to rural location
