Our client, a leading name in modular construction, is seeking an experienced Designer to join their growing team based in Brandesburton. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an innovative business at the forefront of modern methods of construction, producing high-quality, efficient, and sustainable building solutions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed construction and manufacturing drawings to meet project and production deadlines, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver design excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Translate architect's drawings and design concepts into detailed working and manufacturing drawings.
- Produce accurate drawings and specifications within agreed timelines.
- Work within project cost parameters, applying innovative design solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Manage design amendments and ensure document control.
- Liaise with structural engineers, production teams, and subcontractors to resolve queries and incorporate feedback.
- Ensure all work complies with ISO 9001 procedures and company quality standards.
- HNC qualification (or higher) in Manufacturing, Engineering, or similar.
- Minimum 3 years' experience within modular construction.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit (essential).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Strong organisational ability and self-motivation to deliver on time.
- Able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
