We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing renewable energy and engineering business for an experienced Multi-Skilled Engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias. The Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a busy operational environment, ensuring equipment reliability, minimal downtime, and safe working practices at all times.
Duties may include:
- Fault finding and repair on electrical and/or mechanical systems
- Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Reactive breakdown response
- Working on pumps, motors, conveyors, control systems, valves, and associated equipment
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records
- Working independently and as part of a wider engineering team
Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence
- Minimum 5 years' engineering experience
- Background within FMCG, industrial, or water/wastewater environments
- Multi-skilled capability with either electrical or mechanical bias
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable:
- Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC/HND, BOAS or equivalent)
- Experience working in fast-paced operational environments
- Knowledge of health & safety procedures and safe systems of work
