Overview
We are seeking a motivated and hands‑on Trainee Process Operator to join our multi‑skilled production team within a specialist seed oil manufacturing facility. The site produces high‑quality niche oils including Rosehip, Evening Primrose, Borage, and Blackcurrant using both cold pressing and solvent extraction methods. This is a varied operational role within a 24/7 manufacturing environment supplying the Nutraceutical, Cosmetic, Food, Pharmaceutical, and Animal Feed industries globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production equipment across multiple process areas including oil pressing and solvent extraction.
- Support safe, efficient, and high‑quality manufacturing operations in line with food and pharmaceutical standards.
- Follow strict health, safety, environmental, and quality procedures at all times.
- Carry out routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and process adjustments where required.
- Work collaboratively within a shift team to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Maintain accurate records using basic IT systems and production documentation.
- Participate in training and development to gain competence across all plant operations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in chemical, food, feed, or manufacturing environments is beneficial but not essential.
