Our client is seeking an experienced QA Manager to lead quality and food safety activities at their Grove site. This role is responsible for ensuring products meet safety, quality, authenticity, customer, and industry standards while supporting operational performance and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality leadership across site operations, driving performance standards and improvement plans.
  • Support the development and maintenance of site technical standards, HACCP systems, TACCP/VACCP plans, and quality procedures.
  • Lead site quality meetings, audits, pest control programmes, and internal auditing activities.
  • Support external audits including BRCGS, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Work closely with operations and technical teams to manage non-conformances, concessions, hold/release systems, and corrective actions.
  • Analyse quality data and trends to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support product development trials, export documentation, and compliance activities.
  • Deputise for the Technical Manager when required.

Essentials:

  • Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
  • Level 3 HACCP qualification.
  • Experience within a QA or quality role in manufacturing, ideally food production.
  • Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
  • Strong communication, organisational skills.
