About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site. This is a hands-on role where you will support the delivery of an effective maintenance programme, ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and downtime is minimised. You will play a key role in planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance, while also contributing to continuous improvement projects and supporting site-wide engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned, predictive, and condition-based maintenance across all production equipment
- Provide a rapid and effective response to production breakdowns
- Support business objectives and achieve site KPIs
- Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and improve efficiency
- Assist with engineering projects, installations, and improvement activities
- Ensure effective use of engineering stores and control of costs
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety
- Accurately record maintenance activities, downtime, and incidents
- Support the management of contractors on site
- Assist in maintaining site services and technical documentation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
