The Role
- You will be responsible for operating woodworking machinery and producing high-quality timber components to specification within a busy manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating woodworking machinery safely and efficiently
- Cutting, shaping and preparing timber materials
- Reading and working from technical drawings/specifications
- Ensuring products meet quality standards
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Working as part of a production team to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Wood Machinist, Bench Joiner, or Timber Machinist
- Experience operating woodworking machinery (panel saws, spindle moulders, CNC or similar advantageous)
- Ability to read measurements and technical drawings
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
