Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary

Standard Shift: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:30pm

Flexibility Required: Due to business and client demands, occasional Saturday and Sunday work may be required.

Prestige Recruitment Specialists is looking for an experienced Shop Floor Coordinator to join our on-site team at a leading meat processing facility in Kingston upon Hull. This is a hands-on role where you'll become the key point of contact for both our client and agency workforce, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Coordinating daily attendance and workforce planning
  • Checking employee clocking reports and communicating any discrepancies to the Account Manager promptly
  • Supporting and motivating agency staff on the shop floor
  • Ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met
  • Reporting production issues and operational delays
  • Assisting with inductions and site training
  • Working closely with supervisors and management to improve efficiency
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and service delivery

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a supervisory or coordination role within food manufacturing (meat processing preferred)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Good understanding of food safety and health & safety regulations
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends to meet client and business demands
