About the Role

We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Sales Order Process Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis in Hull (HU9). This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, maintaining strong communication with customers and internal departments, and supporting production planning through effective scheduling. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met while supporting efficient operational performance across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Order Processing
    • Accurately register and process customer orders in internal systems
    • Check for duplicate orders and verify customer information
    • Maintain accurate customer and order records
  • Job Pack Creation
    • Prepare complete and accurate production documentation (job packs)
    • Ensure all required information is available to support production teams
  • Customer Communication
    • Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle
    • Provide timely updates on order progress, risks, delays, or changes
  • Production Scheduling
    • Work closely with production teams to create realistic and achievable schedules
    • Support workload balancing to ensure efficient production
