Mobile Plant Fitter Location: Mobile role covering Humberside and Lincolnshire Salary: £34,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 47.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join a well-established business operating across Humberside and Lincolnshire. This is a permanent position replacing a long-serving employee who has recently left after 18 years. It offers an excellent opportunity to secure a stable, long-term role within an established company. The Role Working predominantly in the field, you will service, diagnose, maintain and repair a range of construction and industrial machinery, including excavators, dumpers and rollers. Your responsibilities will include: Carrying out planned servicing and preventative maintenance Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard Attending breakdowns and conducting repairs on-site Inspecting machinery to ensure it operates safely and efficiently Maintaining accurate service and repair records Communicating professionally with customers and site teams Following all relevant health and safety procedures What We're Looking For NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or an equivalent qualification Previous experience servicing and repairing construction or industrial plant Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding abilities Experience working with machinery such as excavators, dumpers and rollers Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently across a mobile territory Reliable, professional and safety-conscious approach Eligibility to meet the company vehicle insurer's requirements Salary and Benefits £34,000-£38,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience Permanent, full-time position Company plant fitter van Company mobile phone PPE provided 21 days' annual leave plus bank holidays Christmas shutdown Company pension To apply, please submit an up-to-date CV detailing your relevant plant maintenance qualifications and experience
