Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting experienced MIG Welders for a leading manufacturer within the commercial vehicle and engineering sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business that offers stable, long-term work, excellent working hours, and a pay increase after successful completion of your probation period.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Friday: 7:00am - 2:30pm
- Early finish every Friday!
Pay Rate
£15.00 per hour rising to £15.50 per hour after 3 months
The Role
- MIG welding a range of steel components and fabricated products
- Producing high-quality welds in line with engineering specifications
- Reading and working from technical drawings where required
- Inspecting finished work to ensure it meets quality standards
- Working safely and maintaining a clean, organised workspace
- Supporting production targets as part of a busy manufacturing team
What We’re Looking For
- Previous MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to work accurately and consistently to a high standard
- Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings would be advantageous
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively within a team
