Industrial Hygiene Manager (Night Shift)
Location: HU7 Area Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30pm - 3:00am Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Industrial Hygiene Manager to lead our night shift hygiene team within a busy food manufacturing facility.
This is a key management role, responsible for ensuring the factory is cleaned and sanitised to the highest food safety and hygiene standards, ready for daily production.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead the night shift hygiene team.
Ensure all cleaning schedules are completed to the required standard.
Maintain compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations.
Carry out hygiene inspections and audits.
Manage hygiene chemicals, equipment and stock levels.
Train, coach and develop hygiene team members.
Work closely with Production and Technical departments to maintain factory standards.
Complete all relevant documentation and reports accurately.
What We're Looking For
Previous hygiene management experience within a food manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Good understanding of food safety standards, HACCP and hygiene best practices.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A proactive approach with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
What We Offer
Competitive salary of £40,000-£55,000 per annum.
Monday to Friday working pattern - weekends free.
Permanent, full-time position.
