The Role

As Hospitality, Catering & Events Manager, you will take ownership of the entire Food & Beverage operation, ensuring exceptional service standards across restaurants, bars, weddings, conferences, golf events and functions. Working closely with senior management and department heads, you’ll lead the hospitality team, maximise revenue opportunities and help shape the future growth of the business. This is a hands-on leadership position where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all Food & Beverage operations, ensuring outstanding customer experiences at every touchpoint.
  • Drive the growth of the conference, events and wedding business as the venue expands.
  • Coordinate hospitality requirements across multiple departments including weddings, golf, spa, accommodation and conferencing.
  • Inspire, recruit, train and develop a motivated, customer-focused team.
  • Manage staffing levels, rotas, budgets and financial performance.
  • Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to increase sales, profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Work collaboratively with the Head Chef to develop exciting menus and continuously enhance the food offering.
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation and service.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and licensing regulations.
  • Manage stock control, purchasing and inventory.
  • Handle customer feedback professionally, ensuring every guest leaves with a positive experience.
  • Attend senior management meetings and contribute to the strategic development of the venue.
  • Support marketing initiatives, social media activity and promotional events.
  • Maintain excellent communication across all departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines operational excellence with commercial awareness and natural leadership. You’ll ideally have:

  • Previous senior management experience within hospitality, hotels, restaurants or event venues.
  • Strong Food & Beverage management experience.
  • Experience managing weddings, conferences, banqueting or large-scale events.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Outstanding leadership, coaching and people management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
  • Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and driving revenue.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
  • A genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
