We are recruiting on behalf of our client in Hull. Our client is a dedicated processing facility in Kingston Upon Hull producing fresh pork. They are looking to expand the Butchery Day shift team with numerous immediate opportunities for knife-skilled operatives for full-time work Monday to Friday. Successful candidates should be reliable, flexible, self-motivated, hardworking and may be offered a permanent opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Precise cutting of shoulder, leg and belly meat following onsite slaughter.
- Continuously checking the quality of products on the line.
- Complying with Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times.
- Following required work instructions and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Possible previous butchery experience, preferably in pork.
- Working to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and work ethic.
- Working as part of a team.
Benefits
- £13.50 per hour (depending on block test result)
- Monday to Friday hours 05:30 until 15:30
- Overtime pays at £16.00 per hour
