Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Bricklayer to join a growing business based in East Yorkshire.
This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position offering varied work across local construction and refurbishment projects, with occasional work away elsewhere in the UK.
The role
- Laying bricks and blocks to the required standard
- Constructing and repairing walls and other structures
- Setting out work and preparing mortar
- Ensuring work is level, aligned and completed accurately
- Completing pointing and finishing work
- Reading and working from plans where required
- Maintaining a safe and organised working area
- Travelling between customer sites
- Occasionally working away across the UK
What we're looking for
- Previous professional bricklaying experience
- Strong practical ability and a high standard of workmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of site health and safety
- Willingness to travel and occasionally work away
- Full UK driving licence
