Prestige Recruitment Specialists is recruiting an experienced Bricklayer to join a growing business based in East Yorkshire.

This is a 12-week temporary-to-permanent position offering varied work across local construction and refurbishment projects, with occasional work away elsewhere in the UK.

The role

  • Laying bricks and blocks to the required standard
  • Constructing and repairing walls and other structures
  • Setting out work and preparing mortar
  • Ensuring work is level, aligned and completed accurately
  • Completing pointing and finishing work
  • Reading and working from plans where required
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working area
  • Travelling between customer sites
  • Occasionally working away across the UK

What we're looking for

  • Previous professional bricklaying experience
  • Strong practical ability and a high standard of workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of site health and safety
  • Willingness to travel and occasionally work away
  • Full UK driving licence
