Prestige Recruitment Specialists are working with a well-established and growing provider of industrial ice machine solutions, who are looking to appoint an ambitious and commercially driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across the UK and international markets.
With over 30 years of experience, the business specialises in the supply of industrial flake, chip and sub-cooled ice machines, providing bespoke solutions, rental options and ongoing service support to customers across the food processing and manufacturing sectors.
The successful candidate will play an important role in developing new business across the UK and overseas markets, identifying opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships and taking projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional who enjoys developing new markets, building relationships and working with technically focused products and solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities across the UK and international markets
Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers across the food processing, food manufacturing and wider industrial sectors
Promote industrial ice machine sales and rental solutions to new and existing customers
Research and identify new markets, customers and commercial opportunities
Manage the full sales lifecycle from initial prospecting and enquiry through to negotiation and close
Attend customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions and industry events both within the xgikmsk UK and internationally
Build and manage a strong, commercially focused sales pipeline
Work closely with internal engineering, technical and service teams to develop solutions tailored to customer requirements
Maintain regular communication with customers throughout the sales process
Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships and develop repeat business
Represent the company professionally in domestic and international markets
