Overview Experienced Glass Cutter 12 Week temporary to permanent Rotating shift: (5am-12:30pm) (1pm-8:30pm) £12.21 + 10% shift pay (Per Hour) We are seeking, on behalf of our esteemed client, a Glass Cutter to join their existing team. The Glass Cutter will be responsible for cutting and shaping glass using a variety of tools and CNC Operators. The ideal candidate will have experience working with glass and operating over head cranes. Responsibilities Take measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping Keep records of approved and defective units or final products Marking out dimensions using patterns Marking out dimensions using patterns, scribing around the pattern or straight edge using cutting tools Smoothing out rough edges with a belt sander Work in accordance with process procedures, work order instructions, drawings, and other production documents Ability to follow the standard operating procedures in place to maintain safety and quality Maintain equipment.
