Prestige Recruitment Specialists are currently recruiting for an FLT Counterbalance Operative to join a busy manufacturing and production environment based in the HU12 area of Hull. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual with a valid, in-date Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence looking for ongoing work, with the potential for permanent employment based on performance, work ethic and attitude.
Working within the Packing Department, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient packing, handling and movement of finished products while operating a Counterbalance FLT to support production and warehouse activities. You will also help maintain high standards of quality, cleanliness and health and safety.
The Role:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Loading batches into kegging stations
- Moving finished products and pallets to the goods store
- Loading, unloading and transporting materials around site
- Following batch card instructions and customer specifications
- Carrying out checks on equipment and workstations
- Packing, banding and wrapping pallets
- Completing production records and batch information accurately
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Checking and cleaning equipment as required
