Our client, a well-established and innovative manufacturer within the flexible packaging industry, is looking to recruit an experienced Extrusion Engineer to join their engineering team at their Scunthorpe manufacturing facility. The Role
As an Extrusion Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the performance of extrusion machinery across the manufacturing site. Working as part of the engineering team, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and support continuous improvement initiatives to maximise equipment reliability and production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on extrusion and associated production equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults efficiently.
- Minimise downtime by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns.
- Support continuous improvement projects to enhance machine performance and reliability.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
