Experienced Paint Sprayer required in Thorne DN8 5TZ. Up to £20.25 per hour DOE, Monday to Friday.
Responsible for preparing surfaces and applying water-based paint using spraying equipment. This role involves ensuring high-quality finishes on premium timber products, maintaining equipment, and adhering to health and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Surface Preparation - Clean, sand and mask surfaces to prepare them for painting
- Paint application - Select and mix appropriate paints or coatings, apply using spray equipment
- Quality Control - Finished product must meet specifications
- Equipment maintenance - Routine maintenance and minor repairs to spray equipment
- Safety compliance - Abide by strict health and safety procedures using hazardous substances
- Inventory Management - Assist in managing paint and equipment supplies
- Cleanliness - Keep work area clean and free of hazards
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a paint sprayer or in a similar role
- Knowledge of water-based paint and the application
