Our client is looking for an experienced Electrical Installation or Maintenance Electrician who is ready to move into a training role and pass on their industry knowledge and expertise. Applications are welcomed from previous or current JIB card holders.

You will work alongside established instructor teams to deliver high quality apprenticeship training to client companies, as well as delivering a range of commercial courses including City and Guilds 18th Edition, City and Guilds 2391, Basic Electrical Maintenance and PAT Testing.

This role is ideal for someone passionate about developing the next generation of skilled electrical technicians.

Key Requirements

The successful applicant will demonstrate strong craft and technical skills, excellent interpersonal skills and basic computer skills, along with a minimum of five years commercial or industrial electrical experience.

You should have proven experience in containment installations, first fixing, second fixing, inspection and testing, and certification. This includes EIC, EICR and minor works certification to current BS7671 and GN3 standards within the electrotechnical sector.

A relevant electrical apprenticeship or City and Guilds Level 3 qualification is essential. HNC or higher qualifications are advantageous. Assessor and teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential, as full training and support will be provided.
