Operating across commercial and industrial sectors, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable electrical solutions and maintaining high standards across all projects.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to play a key role within a busy commercial department, preparing accurate costings and supporting successful project delivery from tender stage through to completion.

Main Duties

  • Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications
  • Evaluate labour, material, plant, and subcontractor costs
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments
  • Assist in preparing tender submissions and quotations
  • Monitor project costs and revise estimates where required
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and commercial risks
  • Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven background in Electrical Estimating is essential
  • Experience within commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of construction and cost control processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Excellent IT skills including Excel and estimating software
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Site experience beneficial but not essential
