Prestige Recruitment Specialists are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a respected and established electrical contractor seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join their growing team. Operating across commercial and industrial sectors, our client has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable electrical solutions and maintaining high standards across all projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced estimator to play a key role within a busy commercial department, preparing accurate costings and supporting successful project delivery from tender stage through to completion.
Main Duties:- Prepare detailed electrical estimates from drawings and specifications
- Evaluate labour, material, plant, and subcontractor costs
- Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal departments
- Assist in preparing tender submissions and quotations
- Monitor project costs and revise estimates where required
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and commercial risks
- Maintain accurate estimating records and documentation
- Proven background in Electrical Estimating is essential
- Experience within commercial and/or industrial electrical projects
- Strong understanding of construction and cost control processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Excellent IT skills including Excel and estimating software
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Site experience beneficial but not essential
- Competitive salary (£40k - £45k DOE)
