About the Role
We are currently looking for reliable and hardworking Sanders to join the team at Howden Paint to Order.
As a Sander, you will be responsible for preparing painted components to a high standard, ensuring surfaces are smooth, clean and ready for the next stage of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Sanding and preparing painted components to the required standard
- Checking products for quality and ensuring any imperfections are addressed
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Maintaining a clean and organised working area
- Working as part of a team to meet production targets
- Following instructions and production requirements
Working Hours
- Monday-Thursday: 14:30-23:00
- Friday: 14:00-22:00
Pay
- Basic rate: £12.77 per hour
- Unsociable hours allowance: +£0.37 per hour
- Total hourly rate during applicable unsociable hours: £13.14 per hour

- Previous sanding, manufacturing or production experience is desirable but not essential
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team
