Our client is seeking a Stock Controller to support stock accuracy and inventory control within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role involves carrying out regular stock counts, maintaining accurate system data, and ensuring stock reports are reliable to support operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular stock counts across the factory to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Ensure correct stock rotation and identify stock discrepancies with Planning and Management teams.
- Verify system-generated stock reports following stock counts.
- Support additional product tracking activities during promotions or business requirements.
- Maintain accurate and timely completion of stock transactions and paperwork.
- Assist with general stock control and inventory integrity across the site.
- Carry out additional duties as required by management.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and organised approach to work.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Understanding of health & safety responsibilities within a manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to undertake Level 2 Food Safety and Health & Safety training.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.
