Counterbalance FLT Driver and Operative
Location: Driffield
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00 (11 hours paid per day)
Pay Rate: £13.00 per hour
We are currently looking for a reliable and experienced Counterbalance Forklift Driver to support our busy factory operations. This is a key role ensuring smooth material flow across production areas in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Counterbalance Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently across the factory site
- Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
- Supply production lines with ingredients, packaging, and other materials as required
- Remove waste and empty pallets from production areas
- Maintain accurate stock movement records
- Conduct pre-use vehicle checks and report any faults or issues
- Work alongside Production when FLT use not needed
- Work closely with the production, warehouse, and quality teams
- Follow all health & safety procedures and site policies
What We\’re Looking For:
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB or equivalent)
- Previous experience working in a busy factory or warehouse environment
- Confident operating in shared spaces and around machinery
- A proactive and reliable approach to work
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
