Are you experienced in caravans, modular buildings, portable buildings or leisure homes? We're recruiting for skilled and semi-skilled operatives to join one of the UK's leading manufacturers within the modular and leisure building sector. This is a long-term opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, regular hours, ongoing work and the chance to develop your skills across multiple trades.
If you've worked in caravan manufacturing, modular construction, portable buildings, shop fitting, joinery, maintenance or refurbishment, we'd like to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a key role in the build, refurbishment and finishing of high-quality modular buildings and leisure units used across the UK. Duties may include:
- Assembly and refurbishment of modular and portable buildings
- Internal fit-out and finishing work
- Basic joinery and carpentry tasks
- Assisting with plumbing and electrical installations
- General repairs, maintenance and snagging
- Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Working from drawings and instructions where required
- Maintaining high standards of quality and health & safety
- Supporting installation and site teams when needed
No two days are the same. This is a varied, hands-on role where you'll gain experience across multiple trades and build valuable skills for the future.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience within caravans, modular buildings, portable buildings or a similar manufacturing environment
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Good practical skills and attention to detail
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Desirable
- Joinery, carpentry, maintenance or refurbishment experience
- FLT licence or plant experience
- Full UK driving licence
