Job Overview

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 (HGV) Driver to join our clients team in Hull. This role involves the safe and timely delivery of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance with transport regulations.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 07:30 - 17:00
  • Friday: 07:30 - 11:30

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely and efficiently
  • Deliver goods to designated locations across local and regional routes
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in line with company procedures
  • Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and records
  • Adhere to all driving laws, tachograph regulations, and working time directives
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
  • Valid CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
  • Digital tachograph card
  • Minimum 6-12 months Class 1 driving experience (preferred)
  • Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
