We are seeking a reliable and self‑motivated Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to provide temporary cover over a 6‑week period. This role includes initial training, holiday cover, and support during a warehouse reorganisation project.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily delivery routes to farms and rural locations
- Load, transport, and deliver a wide range of products (e.g. wellies, disinfectants, coffee, and general farm supplies)
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of goods, including manual lifting
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including stock movement and organisation
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and carry out basic checks
- Provide excellent customer service when delivering to clients
Working Hours
- Variable start times between 6:00am - 7:00am
- Finish times between 3:30pm - 4:30pm
- Flexibility required depending on workload
Candidate Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Confident and competent driver, comfortable with rural routes
- Reach truck licence would be advantageous
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling
- Practical, hands‑on approach with strong initiative
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Willingness to support warehouse operations as needed
Pay Rate
Starting from £12.71 per hour. Higher rates may be considered for strong candidates.
