Yard Operatives & Counterbalance Forklift Drivers Required

Location: G.F.P Agriculture, DN20 0SQ

Counterbalance Driver Duties

  • Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
  • Handling live loads, including bags of seed
  • Loading and unloading lorries
  • Supporting warehouse and yard operations
  • Carrying out general warehouse duties when not operating the forklift

Yard Operative Duties

  • General yard and warehouse duties
  • Assisting with loading and unloading activities
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Supporting the wider team with operational tasks as required

Working Hours

  • 6:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
  • Occasional Saturday mornings (half day)
  • Day and night shifts available

Yard Operatives Pay Rates

  • Days: £13.50 per hour
  • Nights: £15.00 per hour

Counterbalance Drivers Pay Rates

  • Days: £14.50 per hour
  • Nights: £16.00 per hour

Overtime

Paid at 1.5x standard hourly rate

Requirements

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (for Counterbalance Driver roles)
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse/yard environment
  • Willingness to undertake manual handling and general duties alongside forklift work
  • Reliable and able to work as part of a team
