Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting an experienced Auto Repair Technician to join a growing business on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position due to continued growth, offering long-term stability, regular weekday hours and the opportunity to earn additional income through overtime.
The role
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
- Completing vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Inspecting vehicles and identifying required work
- Replacing faulty or worn components
- Completing work safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of work undertaken
- Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service
The ideal candidate
- Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or an equivalent qualification
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Auto Repair Technician
- Confident completing servicing, diagnostics and general repairs
- Able to work independently and as part of a growing team
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- Own tools preferred
- Reliable, organised and committed to producing quality work
Salary and benefits
- £33,000 per annum
- Permanent position
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm
- Overtime available
- 28 days' holiday, including bank holidays
