About the Role
Prestige Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, Cranswick Country Foods - a leading UK food producer supplying premium pork products to top UK retailers, food service providers, and international markets. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit Production Operatives/Packers to join their Day Shift Team in the Abattoir Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Packing and labelling raw pork products
- Assembling products for dispatch
- Monitoring product quality on the line
- Following strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
- Operating equipment such as restrainers, stunners, and carcass handling systems (training provided)
- Working both independently and as part of a team
- Meeting production targets and deadlines
What We\'re Looking For
- Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals
- Flexible and willing to learn new skills
- Good awareness of food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Previous experience in food production or slaughterhouse work is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
