Position: Production Operatives/Packers - Abattoir department - Days

Location: Cranswick Country Foods, Preston (HU12), Hull

Hours: Monday to Friday Start time: 7:30am until finish

Pay Rate: 13.63 per hour

Contract Type: Full-time, Temp to Perm Opportunities Available

About the Role

Prestige Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client, Cranswick Country Foods - a leading UK food producer supplying premium pork products to top UK retailers, food service providers, and international markets. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit Production Operatives/Packers to join their Day Shift Team in the Abattoir Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Packing and labelling raw pork products
  • Assembling products for dispatch
  • Monitoring product quality on the line
  • Following strict food safety, hygiene, and health & safety procedures
  • Operating equipment such as restrainers, stunners, and carcass handling systems (training provided)
  • Working both independently and as part of a team
  • Meeting production targets and deadlines

What We\'re Looking For

  • Reliable, hardworking, and self-motivated individuals
  • Flexible and willing to learn new skills
  • Good awareness of food hygiene and health & safety standards
  • Previous experience in food production or slaughterhouse work is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
