Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for your next opportunity? Our client is seeking a motivated, reliable and hardworking individual to join their warehouse team on an initial 3 month-contract, with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established company where you'll play a key role in ensuring warehouse operations run smoothly and efficiently. Key Responsibilities
- Pick, pack and ship customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Manage and process warehouse orders
- Handle equipment and spare parts returns
- Assist the warehouse Supervisor with daily warehouse operations
- Ensure all QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health & Environment) standards and procedures are always adhered to
- Maintain accurate stock control and inventory management
- Support general warehouse duties and assist with ad hoc projects as required
- Handle all equipment and spare part returns, carrying out the required processing of such returns, including minor cosmetic repairs to some equipment
- To go about daily duties in a safe and efficient manner and ensure warehouse safety is always upheld by all personnel
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in all aspects of the logistic process including operational, administrative and analytical knowledge.
- Previous experience in all areas of warehouse operations essential
- Solid knowledge of flow processes and systems in a Product distribution environment
- FLT licence and experience essential
- Basic knowledge of SAP and good competence of MS-Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)
- An excellent communicator, a driven person with a balanced and flexible approach, possessing the ability to build strong relationships and be able to motivate others
- A team-minded professional that is a self-motivator and a self-starter
