Our client is a highly respected, ISO-accredited manufacturing company with an excellent reputation for quality, innovation, and employee care. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their friendly and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous manufacturing experience who takes pride in producing high-quality work and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.

The Role

  • Working within the production department, you will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production processes, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards.
  • You will work as part of a dedicated team to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating production machinery and equipment.
  • Working on production lines to manufacture products to specification.
  • Carrying out quality inspections throughout the production process.
  • Following production schedules and meeting daily targets.
  • Completing production records and documentation accurately.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Adhering to all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working within a Metal & Metal Finishing or Production environment.
  • Previous experience operating print press machinery or working within a metal finishing environment.
  • A good standard of English and Maths.
  • Intermediate IT skills, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, ERP/EFACS systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet production deadlines.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards work.

Monday – Friday 8am-4.30pm

Salary up to £27,000
