Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit a Production Operative to join their friendly and supportive team. The Role
- Working within the production department, you will be responsible for operating machinery, monitoring production processes, carrying out quality checks, and ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards.
- You will work as part of a dedicated team to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality and safety standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating production machinery and equipment.
- Working on production lines to manufacture products to specification.
- Carrying out quality inspections throughout the production process.
- Following production schedules and meeting daily targets.
- Completing production records and documentation accurately.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Adhering to all company health, safety, and quality procedures.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the production department.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience working within a Metal & Metal Finishing or Production environment.
- Previous experience operating print press machinery or working within a metal finishing environment.
- A good standard of English and Maths.
- Intermediate IT skills, including: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, ERP/EFACS systems.
- Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude towards work.
